Episode 7 – RCMP/GRC

Well, this episode was fun. Media Relations Officer, Constable Rob Gardner was my guest for this show. What did I miss all these years? Find the show on ShawTV North Island & Powell River.

The show is now on YouTube! Have a watch from right here if you want!

Note: During the show Rob and I talked about an old training video. The link for it is here. I wanted to put some of it on the show however CBC wanted a lot of cash to allow me to use even a few seconds of the clip.

Here are a few more links to videos that were supplied by the RCMP/GRC:

YouTube Playlist

xRdsTV on ShawTV

Well, there we go the YouTube playlist is now available for Martin @ the Crossroads.

It is wonderful to report that five of my shows have already aired on ShawTV! The beauty of this is that there are so many ways to watch the show. You can watch it on Shaw’s Channel 4 on the north island and in Powell River throughout on a biweekly rotation of nearly 20 time slots, or you can PVR it. Additionally, once the show has been aired, it is available on YouTube! Yes, you can watch at your leisure whenever and wherever you like.

How do you find the YouTube playlist? Well, my page is the place to get the details. So, for those of you that have not found a way to watch, all you have to do is click here for the playlist! From art to aviation. How about hockey? You cannot not find something to watch so far. And! There is much more to come!

Remember! The more you watch the better my chances are of finding sponsors!

Green Screens and behind the scenes

Bunny is my little dog. She is seen here on the green screen cyclorama. Camera testing with animals is a fun yet trying experience. After getting Bunny to be comfortable on the cloth, we found out that she is so white on her chest that she was actually reflecting the green! This makes it almost impossible to do a proper composite background later in post production.

You see, the green will bleed the background video or image onto her body. Not the desired effect. So, turns out we will likely have to go with a blue screen to do any shots with her. Good thing our new screen will be blue!

We hope to share our video with Bunny in another acting video. Real soon I hope!
